The Mix Up Bar is a lively neighborhood destination where great drinks, comfort food favorites, and a welcoming atmosphere come together. From casual get-togethers to memorable nights out, it’s a place where friends connect, unwind, and enjoy good times every day of the week.
The Mix Up Story
Formerly known as Home Base Bar and Miki Jo’s, The Mix Up opened under new ownership on March 11, 2020. Five days later… well, the world had other plans. The pandemic shut us down almost as fast as we opened up — but we weren’t about to let that be the end of the story.
So, we did what we do best: we mixed things up.
We rolled up our sleeves, built a one-of-a-kind patio and outdoor bar, and stayed connected to our community with takeout options until we could finally open our doors for real on May 17, 2020.
While we proudly honor the history of those who came before us, The Mix Up brings a fresh twist of our own. You’ll still find the great food, familiar faces, and friendly smiles you know and love — plus a fun, welcoming atmosphere that feels a little like coming home… if your home had better drinks and live entertainment.
Owning a bar and restaurant has always been our dream, and we couldn’t imagine a better place to make it happen than right here with all of you who have supported us from day one. This was the first of five bars we purchased, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts.
At The Mix Up, we’re all about good times, good food, and great company. Whether you’re stopping in for a meal, meeting friends for drinks, or catching quality entertainment, there’s always something happening. We also love giving back, hosting events throughout the year — including family-friendly favorites like our free community Breakfast with Santa.
We’ll keep growing, evolving, and mixing things up to meet the needs of our community for years to come.
